Hi, I'm Lea Mishell.

I'm an independent author and the founder of Scorpion Butterfly Publications.

I've always believed stories have the power to help us see ourselves—and each other—with greater compassion.

My fiction explores relationships, family, identity, healing, community, and the many ways people build lives that don't always fit traditional expectations.

The Village of Honeycomb was created as a place where every child belongs, every family matters, and love is measured less by convention than by commitment, honesty, and responsibility.
